To participate, take the Smart Commute Week Challenge, a seven day campaign that encompasses the spirit of International Car Free Day on September 22^nd. Smart Commute Week encourages commuters to try a sustainable mode of transportation such as walking, cycling, carpooling, teleworking and public transit when travelling to and from work.
